Members of the Denver Broncos attended last night’s Colorado Rockies-New York Yankees game. For offensive tackle Orlando Franklin, it was his first experience watching live baseball — and it’s probably one he won’t ever forget. Wide receiver Eric Decker, perhaps with a little encouragement from Peyton Manning, welcomed Franklin to the world of baseball with a prank that’s common in clubhouses around MLB.

Completing a trilogy of new NFL uniforms to be unveiled this week (previously: Jaguars and Vikings) are the Miami Dolphins.
This set is perhaps the least innovative of the three. The biggest change is the logo, which leaked several weeks ago and is old news at this point. The colors have changed slightly, with the predominant color of aqua being lightened a few shades and navy blue becoming a much lighter shade of blue.
And, for some inexplicable reason, they say MIAMI on the butt. It’s a tramp stamp, essentially.
The Dolphins are one of the few NFL teams that choose to wear their white jerseys at home (which makes sense in the Florida heat… but don’t try to tell the all-black Jaguars that), so the “storm trooper” look you see in the photos below will make plenty of appearances in the 2013 season and beyond.
Definitely a much more understated design than we saw from the Jaguars earlier this week, but there are still a few Nike-style elements in there — most notably, the asymmetrical number font. Heck, even the sleeve stripes kind of look like the Nike swoosh.
Someone’s gonna get fired…
The Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings hasn’t planned to join the Jacksonville Jaguars in unveiling their new uniforms today. Both teams were set on showing off their new duds in formal unveiling events on Thursday, just prior to the NFL Draft.
Those plans may now have to change, with the schedule being accelerated.
You see, someone (update: it turns out it was a Jacksonville television station employee) just accidentally leaked a photo of the new Dolphins and Vikings uniforms alongside the new Jaguars set.

Where do half-black, half-gold helmets come from? They sure don’t grow on trees.
The Jacksonville Jaguars introduced new uniforms for the 2013 NFL season at an event this afternoon. As expected (and partially leaked last month), the Nike-produced uniforms feature a number of cutting edge elements.
Most notable is the helmet, which is gold in the rear and fades to black in the front. It’s a revolutionary look that has never been attempted (some would say for good reason) in the NFL.
The new Jaguars jerseys — black at home, white on the road and teal as an alternate — feature a shoulder pattern that gives off a bit of an armor vibe. Over each player’s heart is a military-esque JAGS patch.
Though the Jaguars’ last uniforms almost completely eliminated teal, the much-maligned color is back and plays a prominent (though certainly not primary) role in these new uniforms.
