New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Eric Olsen first encountered Seau as a young man attending a football camp and a small gesture by Seau made a big impact on his life and his desire to pursue professional football as a career. Olsen told the story on Twitter this afternoon and we have reposted it below. Read this one from the bottom to the top.

His name is Bryan Anger and all he has to do to justify his draft slot is become the greatest player ever at his position.

Arizona Cardinals

Wide receiver Michael Floyd will join Larry Fitzgerald (number 11) in the teens. Floyd will wear jersey number 15.

Atlanta Falcons

Center Peter Konz will wear number 66 for the Falcons.

Baltimore Ravens

Rush linebacker Courtney Upshaw will wear jersey number 91.

Buffalo Bills

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore will wear jersey number 27. Gilmore picked the number because seven minus two equals five, which the number he wore in college. He didn’t reveal the formula he used to turn 27 into 7-2, however.

Carolina Panthers

Linebacker Luke Kuechly will wear number 59 for the Panthers. Offensive lineman Amini Silatolu will wear number 61.

Chicago Bears

Defensive end Shea McClellin will wear jersey number 99 for the Bears. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will wear jersey number 17.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick will wear jersey number 27 for the Bengals (though he said he would have preferred number 21, the number sported by his idol, Deion Sanders–a number currently held by the Bengals’ Brandon Ghee). Offensive guard Kevin Zeitler will wear jersey number 68.

Cleveland Browns

Nothing is confirmed yet, but it sounds like it’s official: running back Trent Richardson will wear jersey number 33. He wore the number 3 in college, but that is a number designated for quarterbacks and kickers in the NFL. New Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden also wore number 3 in college and he’ll continue to wear it in the pros.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys traded up to select cornerback Morris Claiborne. He will wear jersey number 24 in Big D. He wore number 17 in college, but cornerbacks aren’t allowed to wear this number in the NFL.

Denver Broncos

Running back Ronnie Hillman will wear jersey number 21.

Detroit Lions

Offensive tackle Riley Reiff will wear jersey number 71 for the Lions. Wide receiver Ryan Broyles will wear number 84.

Green Bay Packers

New rush linebacker Nick Perry will wear jersey number 53. Defensive end Jerel Worthy will wear number 99.

Houston Texans

First-round pick Whitney Mercilus will wear number 59, formerly worn by linebacker DeMeco Ryans (who was traded to the Eagles back in March).

Indianapolis Colts

To no one’s surprise, first overall pick Andrew Luck will wear jersey number number 12, his college number, when he lines up behind center for the Colts. Luck’s college teammate, tight end Coby Fleener, will wear number 80.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Wide receiver Justin Blackmon will take the field in jersey number 14. Reportedly, he was asked if his college number (81) was important to him and he said no. Laurent Robinson currently wears 81 for the Jaguars. It’s possible we will see some kind of number exchange happen in the future.

Kansas City Chiefs

Defensive tackle Dontari Poe will suit up for the Chiefs in jersey number 92.

Miami Dolphins

New Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill says that he’s going to wear jersey number 17, the same number he wore in college. Running back Lamar Miller will wear 44.

Minnesota Vikings

New left tackle Matt Kalil will wear number 67 struck a deal with DeMarcus Love and will wear number 75 and safety Harrison Smith will wear 22.

New England Patriots

New Orleans Saints

Wide receiver Nick Toon will honor his father, three-time Pro Bowler Al Toon, by wearing the same number he wore in the pros, 88.

New York Giants

The last pick of the first round, running back David Wilson, will wear jersey number 34 for the Giants.

New York Jets

Defensive end Quinton Coples will wear jersey number 98. Wide receiver Steven Hill will wear jersey number 84.

Oakland Raiders

Philadelphia Eagles

Fletcher Cox will be wearing jersey number 91 when he lines up as part of a fearsome Eagles defensive line next season. He’ll be joined by defensive end Vinny Curry, number 75. Linebacker Mychal Kendricks will wear 95.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers went after offensive linemen in the draft. Guard David DeCastro will wear number 61 and tackle Mike Adams will wear 76.

San Diego Chargers

Rush linebacker Melvin Ingram will wear jersey number 54.

San Francisco 49ers

Wide receiver AJ Jenkins says he plans to wear jersey number 17 for the 49ers. Running Back LaMichael James will wear number 23.

Seattle Seahawks

Defensive end Bruce Irwin will wear jersey number 51. Bobby Wagner will wear number 54 and Russell Wilson will wear number 3.

St. Louis Rams

Defensive tackle Michael Brockers will wear jersey number 96. Wide receiver Brian Quick will wear 83.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Safety Mark Barron will wear jersey number 24 for the Buccaneers. He wore number 4 in college. Running back Doug Martin will keep his college number, 22.

Tennessee Titans

Speedy wide receiver Kendall Wright will wear jersey number 13 for the Titans. Linebacker Zach Brown will wear 55.

Washington Redskins

New quarterback Robert Griffin III said he “[plans] to wear 10.” He added, “I think it’ll be available.” That doesn’t sound good for Jabar Gaffney, the current number 10 on the Redskins.

Remember that these numbers won’t necessarily be set in stone. Some rookies will end up changing their numbers during training camp when cuts occur and new numbers become available. That said, it’s a safe bet to assume that the big names in the draft won’t be changing numbers any time soon because teams will already be selling their jerseys.

Rather than waiting until draft day to work out a deal, the Rams made a wise decision and negotiated a trade down prior to the start of NFL free agency, at a time when their leverage was maximized and the bounty to be had was largest. And it was large. A deal was reached with the Redskins that saw the two teams swap first round picks in 2012 (Nos. 2 and 6) and the Redskins send the Rams their second round pick in 2012 and the first round picks in both 2013 and 2014. Some called it highway robbery, but it was a fair price to demand for the rights to draft a prospect as highly-touted as Griffin.

The Redskins were a perfect partner for the Rams. New Rams coach Jeff Fisher and Redskins coach Mike Shanahan have a great relationship, which surely oiled the gears of negotiation. Redskins owner Daniel Snyder’s aggressiveness, historical willingness to move draft picks and sheer desperation resulting from his failure to find a franchise quarterback helped, too. But what mattered most to the Rams may have been the Redskins’ draft slot: No. 6.

Moving down only four slots to No. 6 leaves the Rams within range of the draft’s elite prospects. And now it appears that they are ready to make a move to get the player they want most.

The latest rumor is that the Rams are looking to move up from No. 6 to No. 3, the pick currently held by the Vikings. According to reports, the Rams covet running back Trent Richardson and don’t think he’ll get past the Browns at No. 4. Richardson has been called the best prospect at his position since Adrian Peterson and he would fit perfectly in new Rams head coach Jeff Fisher’s run-heavy offensive system. If the Rams are committed to the success of Sam Bradford, the best thing they can do is give him a weapon as dynamic as Richardson.

The Vikings have two glaring needs, left tackle and cornerback, and there are elite prospects available at both positions (Matt Kalil and Morris Claiborne, respectively). The teams drafting No. 4 and 5 could each use a cornerback upgrade, but neither is a threat to draft an offensive tackle. It makes perfect sense for the Vikings to move down a bit and still get a player they had at the top of their list all along.

So, what do the Rams need to offer to get it done?

According to the draft value chart, a move up from No. 6 to No. 3 would cost the Rams 600 points. The Rams’ second-round pick (No. 33 overall) is worth 580 points, so there won’t be any need to craft a complicated deal with many different parts. Pick No. 33 alone might be enough to get a deal done. If not, all the Rams would likely have to add is a late-round pick or a player they don’t mind losing. Trading away your early second-rounder hurts, but remember that the Rams already own another early second-rounder (No. 39 overall, acquired from the Redskins). Losing a late-rounder isn’t a big deal in the first place, but the Rams may be able to recoup the loss by trading away aging running back Steven Jackson, whom they would have little need for with Richardson on the roster.

If the Rams manage to pull this off, it just might be the greatest coup in draft history. Essentially, they will have moved down just one spot, drafted a player who some have called the best in the entire draft and who they had at the top of their board all along, and gained an extra two first round picks. Ridiculous.

Then again, no deal has happened yet. The Vikings have the leverage at this point, but it will start to disappear when they get on the clock tomorrow night and are faced with the prospect of being forced to draft Kalil four slots earlier than they have to (and pay him the extra salary that comes with that). I expect this is a trade that, if it happens at all, won’t be finalized until the Vikings are actually on the clock.

There’s also a late-breaking rumor that the Jets are looking to trade up to No. 3 from No. 16, as they also reportedly covet Richardson. For that trade to happen, Gang Green would have to give up a package similar to what the Redskins gave the Rams. It’s unlikely to actually happen, but it might put the pressure on the Rams to increase their offer to the Vikings and get a deal done.

Of course, since this is 2012 and Deion is a major media figure (he’s currently preparing for his on-air role as part of NFL Network’s draft coverage), he tweeted about the whole experience. He has since deleted some of the tweets, but we have a screen capture of everything below:
